Review: ZA Blemish Shoot Lotion

ZA Blemish Shoot Lotion is a toner. You can get this at any Guardian or Watsons outlet. The retail price is around rm 20 plus minus for 120 ml.

This toner has a typical toner smell. One thing good is the smell does not sting the nose! I find this product quite good because over weeks of continuous application, you can really see the difference in your skin. Mine has become smoother with smaller pores and less pimple! I applied twice a day (every morning and night) to obtain this results. It does not leave the skin feeling too tight or sticky as well. It says here it has Rosemary Extract, Vitamin E, soothing agent and its oil-free. Well, I guess these ingredients worked well on my skin.

Overall, I think this is a good toner. I would recommend this to those who wants to have blemish-free skin and skin with smaller pores!

Review: Albatross Powder Sun

Albatross Powder Sun is a Korean-made sunblock with SPF 41/PA++. I received this sample few weeks ago. I've never heard of this brand before. Not sure where you can get it from and how much is it. You can Google it to find out. The website printed on this sachet is: www.charmzone.co.kr

At first, I thought this is just any typical sunblock and I rarely use sunblock because of the strong smell and sticky after-application feeling. Since I have to walk under the sun EVERY SINGLE DAY, I usually end up reaching my destination with sweaty and sticky face due to the sunblock!! Since I had this sample, so I decided to give it a try hoping it'll make things better for me.

To my surprise, this sunblock is not sticky and it has this powder-ish feeling after applying it! What's most important about a sunblock is that it can protect me from the sun and indeed I did not get any darker ever since I started using it last week! But no signs of getting fairer. *DUH* LOL! However, I still end up at my destination with sweaty face (but not as sticky). Who doesn't? The weather is crazy lately! *Grrr*

Hooray! Now I know what to use every time I have to walk under the sun! Ooohh.. and I wanna share something from this sachet.. really no joke!

Yes, it's true, you'll REALLY see the difference just by using THE sample! Overall, I would recommend this product to those who uses daily sunblock to prevent freckles, skin pigmentation, skin premature aging, etc..

Review: L'Oreal Hydrafresh Anti-Shine Icy Gel

Even though I wash my face before I go out, but my skin still feels so oily after awhile when I'm out. And it's gross to be out with oily face!! So I thought of trying something new hoping that it will solve my problem.

Bought L'Oreal Hydrafresh Anti-Shine Icy Gel and tried it for almost three weeks already. After each application, my skin feels so cooling, soft and smooth. It seems quite effective at first, but after long hours, my skin becomes oily again. But the smooth feeling can last longer than without the application of this gel.

I bought this product from Watson's. Selling price is around RM 20 - 25 (depending on where you are buying it from). Overall, I would recommend this product to those who needs to maintain fresh-looking face even after long hours! :D

Review: Guardian Nourishing Face Mist

Just thought of trying something new from Guardian - facial mist! It's selling at RM 15.90 for 50 ml (around there la.. i forgot the actual price. but with purchase of RM 40 and above, you get a 50% discount on this product. now that's what i call a good deal!) I think anyhow, this is still cheaper than Avene (thermal spring water spray that I have been using before this).

Anyway, this product claims that it is enriched with collagen, helps improve skin elasticity and freshens make up. Overall, i think the mist is ok. Not much difference even after few times application. The scent is quite pungent for me. It depends where am I when I'm applying this. If I'm applying this at air-conditioned place, it makes me feel abit fresh. But if I apply it at somewhere not air-conditioned and humid (like mamak stall), it makes my skin abit sticky.

But for this price, I think this product is ok. No side effects nor anything very unpleasant. So, I think its a pretty ok alternative for those expensive thermal spring water spray.

Review: The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Eau De Toilette

The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Eau De Toilette is available at any The Body Shop outlet. Selling at RM 79.00 for 50ml.

This Eau De Toilette has a very classic and elegant scent of rose. This scent brings out a very feminine and elegant aura of a person. Some may find that the scent of this fragrance is a little too heavy for them. After each application, the scent of this fragrance can last for quite a long time.
